AES completed a full mechanical and plumbing installation at the prestigious Bruisyard Country Estate, a luxury wedding and events venue in rural Suffolk. The project involved the conversion of a barn to create an extra wedding venue, including the integration with the existing biomass system.
The project involved integrating modern systems with existing infrastructure while preserving the character and functionality of the estate.
This project was delivered with sensitivity to the estate’s history and operational requirements as a high-end wedding venue, resulting in a modern, sustainable solution.
Heating:
- Connected into the estate’s existing biomass system, with new zoned flow and return pipework and dedicated pump sets
- Installed three underfloor heating manifolds and two hot water zones for guest areas and accommodation
- Supplied and fitted two 200L mains pressure cylinders
- Pumped hot water loops added to ensure quick delivery at distant outlets
- Underfloor heating installed across all guest and accommodation areas
- All heating zones configured for simple guest use in bedrooms
Plumbing:
- Complete installation of hot and cold services and above-ground drainage
- First and second fix plumbing completed for all WC’s, DOC M accessible suite, and three ensuite shower rooms
- Supplied and installed all sanitaryware
Additional Works:
- Water softener system supplied and installed, with dedicated hard cold feed to kitchen
- Coordinated with electricians for PIR-controlled hot water loop management and integration of guest thermostats (8 zones)
